In 1989–1990 I worked actively on both the design and the construction of the organic house of Jacques Gillet — an internationally recognised Belgian organic architect — being built in the Belgian village of Ouffet. Gillet supported my diploma project, and it was at his encouragement that I came to Hungary, where I later became a colleague of Imre Makovecz.
